Award Description

The aim of this qualification is to train learners to a professionally competent level, enabling them to prescribe, plan and deliver safe and effective exercise programmes within a gym or health club environment.

• You have the option of retrospectively attending practical workshops once gyms are open again
• There are no time limits to your study and access is ongoing

Active IQ Level 2 Fitness Instructing (Gym)

You will study this CIMSPA recognised qualification at your own pace using a combination of learning methods including online learning, webinars, tutorials and practical workshops. You will be supported at each step by our team of tutors, who are available to help you from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week!

You will study various modules during your studies, which include:

• Anatomy & Physiology
• Supporting Clients
• Health & Safety
• Designing Gym Based Exercise
• Delivering Gym Based Exercise

For your assessment you will be assessed via the below tasks (you have FREE unlimited attempts at all of these!)

• Portfilio of coursework
• Multiple choice theory exams
• Practical exams

Once complete you will be a qualified Fitness Instructor and we can help you find jobs right away. In addition to this you will also be eligible to apply for CIMSPA membership. You can also move on to study Level 3 Personal Training with us.
