Award Description
The Hill and Moorland Leader award is designed for people who want to lead groups in the hill and moorland areas of the UK and Ireland. This award is a wonderful opportunity to learn the leadership skills required to feel confident about taking people out walking. As you may have guessed from the descriptive title of this award, it focuses on non-mountainous terrain.
About
Three day Hill and Moorland Leader Training course based around the Black Mountains. Covering all aspects of the syllabus as set out in the handbook. Delivered by our team of passionate and professional instructors who are all experienced in the delivery of the course but also working within the scope of the scheme.
Tea and Coffee is included in the course cost.
The residential fee includes 3 nights comfy, shared B&B accommodation starting the night before the course start so you can arrive the night before and relax. The Residential also includes lunch. There is no Bar and restaurant on site but there are some very good pubs nearby.
