Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to lead hillwalking groups in summer conditions on mountainous routes not requiring the planned use of a rope. Established in 1964, this was the first qualification created by Mountain Training.
These courses are run under the umbrella of Pete Hill WMCI, one of the UK's foremost and best-known MTS-accredited course providers.
This course will be directed and run by Samantha Leary WMCI, who has worked as an ML course director for many years and has known Pete for even more!
Our courses are renowned for being of the highest quality, pitched for the best learning experience combined with a sensitive approach to the teaching of the syllabus. Expect to be learning and not being thrashed around the hills!
