BAIML is the professional membership organisation in the UK and Ireland for holders of the UIMLA International Mountain Leader (IML) qualification from Mountain Training UK and Ireland (MTUKI), and also for people from other nations who hold a UIMLA IML diploma and become resident in the UK or Ireland.
BAIML has approximately 500 members of whom over 300 are fully qualified and active UIMLA IMLs.
BAIML is a founding member of the Union of International Mountain Leader Associations (UIMLA).
