This 4-hour Anaphylaxis Management training is available as a standalone course or can be added to one of RLSS UK’s other first aid qualifications. After completing an RLSS UK Anaphylaxis Management course, candidates receive a Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis.
RLSS UK’s Anaphylaxis Management course was created in partnership with the Anaphylaxis UK (previously Anaphylaxis Campaign), the only UK-wide charity solely focussed on supporting people at risk of severe allergic reactions. They empower people living with severe allergies to be more confidently in control of their lives and provide information and support to patients and their families and carers.
The Anaphylaxis Management qualification is Ofqual, CCEA and Qualification Wales accredited and valid for two years after the assessment date. RLSS UK’s Anaphylaxis Management is CIMSPA endorsed, which means it has been quality-assured by CIMSPA.
Prerequisites:
Candidates must be a minimum of 16-years-old, at the time of taking the assessment.

Assessment:
The RLSS UK Anaphylaxis Management course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work. There is a practical assessment on CPR and the management of Anaphylaxis, and all assessment criteria must be achieved to pass the Anaphylaxis Management course.
Renewal:
To renew an Anaphylaxis Management qualification, candidates must re-qualify by being assessed against all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for the qualification. A renewal is achieved by redoing the initial 4-hours of course content.
