Navigation Skills is for field staff/guides working in any area where simple walks/longer treks, ski tours, skidoo excursions, landings or zodiac cruises are undertaken and basic GPS and navigational skills may be required. It is a basic safety management competency that all field staff/guides should have. *This syllabus meets or exceeds the IAATO/AECO recommended guide standard ‘Navigation’.
