I run Found in the Mountains UK, working throughout the UK and abroad - as an experienced MCI (Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor) working professionally, offering advice and support in all aspects of climbing walls and ropes course operation, inspection and safety management.
Do not worry I still love guiding walks, running climbing session at the local crag or taking people on an adventure on the mountain crags and remote summits.
As a PPE (competent person) Inspector, ERCA Trainer for Adventure Park, High Ropes, Low Ropes, accompanied and unaccompanied rescue, zip wires and specialist activities, you know that I have the experience required.
I have been working in the industry for over 20 years and bring a wide range of knowledge from managing climbing walls and ropes courses, to building and inspecting them too.
So, if you are looking for staff training and site-specific assessments of competency you do not have to look any further.
I've worked with Jonathan for the last 5 years from when he used to manage a climbing wall in York to delivering staff training on high ropes courses, climbing towers and auto belay climbing walls. I also assessed him on his CWLA. Jonathan has a great eye for detail and is a passionate climber. He regularly gets out climbing when ever his work allows and loves mountain routes and adventurous climbing. I wish him well in his MIA which I'm sure he will tackle to the best of his abilities.
