Di is available to lead organised treks and walking holidays under contract to leading outdoor companies. From high mountain peaks to gentle discovery walks packed with local interest, Di delivers the highest quality customer care and enjoyment. Her interest in local history and culture, coupled with her knowledge of local flora and fauna, means she always delivers an engaging holiday for all guests. She is very sociable and creates a great team spirit on every holiday she leads.
Passionate about mountains, she has a wealth of personal mountaineering and trekking experience in the Himalaya, the Andes and New Zealand as well as lots of places in Europe - Austrian Alps, Italian Dolomites, Switzerland, Corsica and of course the French Alps.
Living and working in the Lake District, she knows its mountains and its moods and loves nothing more than to introduce newcomers to one of her favourite place in the world.
Her hobbies include climbing and mountain biking and she's tackled most of the awe-inspiring via ferrata in the Dolomites plus a few Alpine summits over the years.

Di is an experienced trek and walking leader, having led many trips in the Alps, other parts of Europe , South America, Himalaya, New Zealand and the UK. She is a qualified International Mountain Leader and holds the French Carte Pro.
