We provide navigation instruction under the NNAS scheme, including NNAS Bronze, NNAS Silver NNAS Gold and the NNAS Tutor Award, GPS use courses and CPD workshops, pre-trek training sessions and training on kit use such as avalanche transceivers & ABS airbags and provide bespoke trekking trips. I also instruct, supervise and assess DofE Award Groups to Gold level and deliver climbing instruction in the South East.
I have always loved the outdoors and the mountain environment and enjoy all forms of mountaineering, ski touring, ski mountaineering, trekking and climbing; having lead trips to Mount Kenya, Kilimanjaro, Mount Toubkal, Tibet, Pyrenees, Patagonia and Canada.
I am based in East Sussex and France (Pyrenees Oriental).

I grew up on the North edge of Dartmoor and went to college in Plymouth studying electronic & electrical engineering, on leaving college in the early 80's I set-up my first business, since that time I worked for an american technology company as a project director in the UK and US and since then have founded a further 14 companies in a range of industries and based in several countries including UK, France, Germany, Holland, Spain and the UAE.
In 2002 I took one of my businesses into the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 and was a runner up Entrepreneur of the Year. Since 1995 I have had a growing involvement in Mountaineering activities including ski touring and ski mountaineering with expeditions to Tibet, Greenland, Patagonia, Brazil, Canada and smaller trips to the Alps and Pyrenees.
I am still a Director in an internet software business (http://www.liaisonsystems.com) and Outdoorhire (www.outdoorhire.co.uk).
The major part of my time being spent with Outdoorhire delivering training, DofE, climbing instruction and trek & expedition leading.
