I have been a full professional in the field of Outdoor Education since 1981 celebrating . I hold the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor Award / Winter Mountain Leader.
I am a Mountain Training course provider for the Climbing Wall Instructor and Rock Climbing Instructors AWARDS and course director for the Lowland Leader Award and Hill and Moorland Leader Award s.
We deliver the new Mountain Training Hill Skills scheme.
I am a British Orienteering Tutor for the Teaching Orienteering Part 1 and 2 and UKCC Awards.
National Navigation Award Scheme provider and Gold award assessor.
I offer open course for individual and closed course for groups and organisations. Call for a current course date list.
Outdoor Activities Service and Alternative adventure deliver outdoor activities at venues around the UK, but mainly the North West of England.
We have 3 mobile climbing wall which are available to hire at you event and venue. This is a popular activity with schools when combine with archery and team / problem solving exercises.

Stuart Igoe is the course director of training and assessment for the CWA, SPA, HML, LLA and ML. We are providers of the new Mountain Training schemes Hill and Mountain skills. We will also run re-assessments and additional training courses when requested. We have a number of tutors working alongside with a vast experience to support you during your course. Our philosophy when delivering course is that people learn best in when they are relaxed and having fun.

Skills course , introduction to outdoor climbing, learning to lead, intro to sport climbing, intro to multi pitch climbing and problem solving/improvised rescue.
Our main area of operation is North West England, (West Pennine Moors, Forest of Bowland, Lake District), but will deliver course in other areas when requested by groups and organisations.
