Samantha Leary and Cath Wilson are co directors of Leading Edge. For us being in the mountains is all about having a great time, in a wonderful place and sharing that with others. If you have a passion for the outdoors and are wanting to develop your skills and/or confidence to help others enjoy and appreciate the hills, mountains and crags of the U.K. Leading Edge can definitely help.
Sam is a Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor and Cath holds the Mountaineering and climbing Instructor qualification, along with being a Winter Mountain Leader and a International Mountain Leader. We are very active climbers and mountaineers, enjoying the U.K.'s upland environment all year round. With a our roots very firmly in outddor education we hope our personal and professional experience allows us deliver modern, informative courses that are inclusive, supportive and enjoyable.
We run open, friendly and fun courses which are packed full of learning, delivered expertly and at the right level and pace for you.
