Award Description

This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on single pitch crags and climbing walls. Common activities undertaken by Rock Climbing Instructor will be roped climbing and bouldering. This scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.

Based at the glorious Almciff and Brimham Rocks in gods own county! First day will be at Big depot, Leeds. I will be delivering this course with over 25 years experience of the outdoor industry and delivered over 700 NGB courses. As an active and passionate climber I really enjoy meeting like minded folk who love passing on their skills to others.

The course will have some classroom elements but mainly practicle demonstations, technique drills and teaching aids to make your sessions fun, educational and safe.
