Our lively lifesaving sessions run on a Thursday evening from 8:00pm till 10:00pm (Rookies 8:30pm - 9:30pm).
Within the classes, we look at the Rookie Lifeguard and Survive and Save programmes, offering a variety of awards and achievements. Our Rookie Lifesaving session is aimed at ages 8 and above, with our Survive and Save Lifesaving for ages 12 and upwards. We train in the swimming pool, in summer we train in open water and on the beach!
We run as a rolling program, with our lifesavers taking awards as and when they are ready. And what’s more, our awards count towards the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
