Thanks for taking the time to look me up!
I’m a keen mountaineer and climber and live in stunning North Wales, with easy access to mountains, sea cliffs and adventurous crags. Being so close to the hills allows me to get out regularly, as well as slot in trips around the UK and to ranges in N America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

I hold the Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor Award – the UK’s highest rock climbing and summer mountaineering qualification, allowing me to teach and lead all aspects of rock climbing, and summer mountaineering, such as scrambling. I also hold the Winter Mountain Leader Award, allowing me to introduce groups to snowy mountains in the UK and am a National Navigation Award Tutor.
My work is varied, but I specialise in:
-Teaching people to lead rock climb.
-Introducing people to multi-pitch climbing.
-Teaching roped scrambling.
-Teaching navigation.
-Introducing people to winter mountaineering.
As well as mountaineering qualifications, I also hold leader qualifications in sea kayaking and mountain biking.
I keep up to date with industry best practices and continue to develop by attending CPD courses through my membership of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors. I hold insurance cover for all the activities I deliver and keep up to date with First Aid training.
