I love being a Mountain Leader because it allows me to share some extraordinary views with other people. While working at Outward Bound in Aberdovey I took quite a few inner city groups from London and Birmingham into the hills. Most of them were amazed by how little rubbish there was and the lack of CCTV. These are two things I take for granted but in their world, litter and CCTV are a regular part of their everyday lives. I felt lucky to be living and working in such a beautiful place with all the benefits that brings.
