I have a genuine passion for the outdoors, love the wildlife, nature and landscape of what our beautiful country has to offer!
I'm definitely slightly obsessed with getting out and exploring, predominantly north Wales but all over... Lake District, Yorkshire, Brecon, Scotland etc...
I've been super busy since passing my Mountain Leader award 6 years ago. I'm now on the core team for Lakeland Mountain Guides, set up my own company, Mountain Wonders which I run navigation
and skills courses , with wild camping opportunities.
I've helped set up a charity called Blackdog Outdoors, our aim is to introduce or re-connect those with poor mental health to the outdoors. I'm the Walking and Hillskills officer, so I look after all the walking events in England and Wales.
I love sharing my enthusiasm for the outdoors and hopefully this gives people the confidence and knowledge to safely visit amazing places.
Last year I led my first overseas trek to Everest base camp, working in conjunction with LMG Treks & Expeditions and Blackdog Outdoors, it was a great success and plan to again in the future. I also squeezed in a trek to the summit of mount Toubkal, stunning sunrise and scenery, definitely be back!
Last year I started shadowing a few Mountain Leader courses as that's an area I'd like to move forward to in the future, I've helped many trainees over the last few years and enjoy seeing people progress and succeed though their qualifications.
I've also done some volunteering for the MTA, again giving something back as it helped me pass my ML.
- I passed my summer ML with Phil George in Llanberis
-I also train and assess DofE.
-16 hrs in Remote areas First Aid.
-Mental Health First Aid
-Voluntary Warden on Yr Wyddfa
-Provide Mountain Skills courses approved by Mountain Training
