I have walked and climbed in summer and winter conditions in most regions of the UK. I am over halfway through the Munros and have climbed nearly 1000 routes. My favorite part of the UK is the West Coast of Scotland and a lot of my mountaineering time is spent here, I also really like the gritstone in the Peak District.
Overseas I have led walking groups in Iceland and France (GR20) and trekked in Bavaria. I have climbed in Norway (Rjukan), Bavaria and the USA (Joshua Tree and Yosemite). I am a proficient downhill skier and have been to various countries to participate.
I hold the ML (S & W) and also the Joint Service Rock Climbing Instructor awards.
