I am an IFMGA Guide and Mountaineering Instructor (WMCI) based in Kingussie, Scotland working in the UK, Chamonix and Norway. Equally passionate about alpine mountaineering in the summer months and skiing in the winter; my guiding activities are now split between 'Mountain Assurance Ltd' and 'Off Piste Performance Ltd' respectively. Alongside practice at the sharp end I also provided technical advice, subject matter expertise and consultancy in mountaineering disciplines and the management of adventure activities. I am a Senior Consultant with Adventure Activity Associates Ltd and a Senior Forecaster with Scottish Avalanche Information Service (SAIS).
